BeginnerFitPath is a small, independent site with a simple promise: give total beginners honest, practical, easy-to-follow guidance on home workouts and healthy habits. This page explains how I create what you read here and the standards I hold myself to.
Who writes this
Content is written by me, Atif Tufail, the founder of BeginnerFitPath. I’m not a personal trainer or a medical professional — I’m someone who learned to build a consistent home-workout habit from scratch and now writes the beginner guides I wish I’d had. I’m upfront about that everywhere on the site, because trusting where advice comes from matters.
How I create content
- I write from real, hands-on beginner experience, and I aim to be genuinely more useful than the generic advice that’s already out there.
- Where I mention general facts about exercise or health, I try to keep them consistent with widely accepted, mainstream guidance — not fads or extreme claims.
- I keep the language plain and beginner-friendly on purpose. If a term needs explaining, I explain it.
- I only recommend approaches and products I’d genuinely suggest to a friend who was just starting out.
Not medical advice
Everything here is general information to help beginners get moving — it is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. I’m not a doctor. Please see my Medical Disclaimer and talk to a qualified professional before starting any new exercise routine, especially if you have an existing health condition.
Honesty about money
Some articles contain affiliate links, and the site displays ads. This never changes my honest opinion of a product, and it never costs you anything extra. Full details are in my Affiliate Disclosure.
Keeping things current & fixing mistakes
I review and update articles over time so they stay accurate and useful, and you’ll usually see an “updated” date on them. I’m human and I get things wrong sometimes. If you spot an error, please tell me through the Contact page and I’ll look into it and correct it promptly.
